We have an exciting new role available to join our Intermediary sales team as a Mortgage Desk Support Officer. The purpose of the role is to provide a professional service to our Intermediary customers, promoting the Nottingham's Intermediary proposition and promoting loyalty through an excellent customer service experience. You will build & maintain effective business relationships with our customers & support the Intermediary Sales Team to achieve the Nottingham's strategic plans.

The key responsibilities of this role include -

Provide telephone help desk support for new enquiries from both external & internal customers (including BDM's)
Build and maintain external relationships through pro-active communication to both active & inactive brokers
Contribute to the Society's Intermediary lending objectives through the ability to communicate the Society's lending criteria/policy with Intermediaries
Work flexibly to support IST & Lending Service teams to achieve their business objectives
Identify & review Intermediary proposals that require a business rationale
Arrange pre-approval's for more complex mortgage sales enquiries (including large loans, self-build)
Management & maintenance of Broker contact model & Network data MI
Produce & maintain regular reports for external Key Accounts & internal stakeholders
Review, evaluate & report financial & market data
Identify improvements of service, systems, procedure and policy to ensure they reflect the Society's core values and meet business requirements.
Provide an excellent customer service to Intermediaries through demonstrating competence across defined skills matrices and call flows
Promote The Nottingham's image and products to the professional community to create interest, goodwill and business opportunities, which through your skill will result in business for The Nottingham.
Undertake regular due diligence of intermediaries who provide mortgage business, as per procedures/processes agreed with the Compliance team, to protect the quality of the business and help prevent fraud.We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate -

Financial Services experience
A first class communicator who is well organised, professional and enthusiastic
Demonstrates an understanding of mortgage processing & underwriting
Adaptable working style to ensure objectives are met whilst prioritising workload in in line with department capacity
Ability to self-motivate, plan and work in a team & on own initiative
Works well under pressure & to deadlines
PC literate (Excel, Word, Outlook,)
