Salary: £16,900 – £19,600 per annum

EACH has ambitions to expand its current donor portfolio, increase volunteer numbers and grow its region-wide income so that we may continue our work in delivering care and support to life threatened children and their families. In addition to revenue targets we currently have a capital appeal to build a new £10m hospice in East Anglia. In order to achieve these ambitions EACH is investing in its fundraising structure with the creation of new specialist teams to deliver more effective partnerships for greater impact and influence. The Fundraising Assistant will be supported to achieve agreed annual income targets by initiating new areas and developing existing streams, of community involvement (local groups and organisations, clubs, schools etc.). You may be required to recruit and supervise volunteers, as well as support and facilitate the development of volunteer networks and fundraising groups across the county.

You will assist our Fundraisers in building relationships with existing EACH supporters to consolidate and secure income. You may support fundraising in companies within the region, through activities such as staff fundraising, payroll giving, sponsorship, cause-related marketing and Charity-of-the-Year schemes, as well as volunteering and Gifts in Kind.

You may also conduct research into potential cost-effective fundraising events and will take responsibility for the organisational logistics of particular projects which could include Gift of Care, In Memoriam or Corporate activities within your regional team.

Finally, you will be confident in the delivery of formal presentations and talks to organisations, businesses and social groups.

The successful applicant will gain extensive experience in Community, Corporate and Events Fundraising.
