We are now actively searching for an experienced Credit Controller to work on a temporary basis for a client based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

This is a varied role, which would involve the following duties:

Main Tasks and Activities

Collection of Client monies by telephone & letter – including liaison with external collection agencies

Ensure timely dispatch of Sales Invoices with the correct Paperwork

Maintenance of Sales Ledger – allocation of invoices & cash receipts to correct accounts

* Work to achieving Group and Individual Targets
* Credit checking of new and potential clients
* Setting up new clients ensuring all the relevant detail is correctly inputted
* Monitoring credit limits of existing clients – advising management of any exceeding limits
* Resolution of Client invoice queries – issue of Credit Notes where necessary
* Compliance with Credit Insurance procedures
* Other adhoc duties

Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following skills and experience:

* Previous experience within a credit control role
* Excellent communication skills
* IT Literate - especially with Microsoft Excel
* Team player

The client would also consider part time candidates (minimum of 4 days per week)
