Salary: £21,000 + p/a commensurate with experience and qualifications

Our Client ,a subsidiary of a major international Manufacturing/Engineering company are looking to recruit a Payroll Co-ordinator to join their finance team located within Warrington.

The overall purpose of the role will be able to provide support to the Finance team and predominantly ensure that an effective and efficient payroll service is maintained. It would also involve being the first point of contact for HR issues and external visitors entering reception.

In return the successful candidate will receive a starting salary of £21K which would increase to £22.5 after 6 months, 26 days holiday entitlement + bank holidays, free parking and a competitive pension entitlement.

Main duties will include: but not limited

• Processing of monthly payroll for all staff (approx. 75).
• Posting of all payroll related payments onto the Barclays Banking System.
• Maintain HR records for time and attendance, including monitoring of holidays etc.
• Maintain HR personnel files.
• Maintain training records and timetable.
• Prepare documentation for new employees to include contracts of employment, offer letters and supporting paperwork.
• Reception Duties
• Arranging itineraries i.e. booking travel/hotels.

Skills Required
• Previous experience within a payroll function is essential.
• Must have experience/knowledge with PAYE / HMRC.
• Highly computer literate especially with excel, word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to be an excellent team player in addition to working on own initiative.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
