We currently have an opening within our Finance Department for Finance Banking Officer to join our Head Office team on a part time basis (20-25 hours per week). The role is available due to the internal development of our current Finance Banking Officer, we are looking for someone who is able to work independently and can manage their own workload but also with the ability to be flexible and support the wider team when required.

The purpose of this role is to ensure timely and accurate payments to landlords and contractors, and the reconciliation of the Group's bank accounts. We're looking for a good eye for detail, excellent analytical skills and the ability and confidence to handle complex numerical data. You'll be in regular contact with stakeholders across the business so excellent communication skills are imperative

We are looking for a Finance Banking Officer with the ability to prioritise and work accurately and efficiently, keeping a consistent quality of work across for all work volumes. The key responsibilities of this role include

Independently conduct banking process daily. This involves processing of standing order receipts, streamline receipts and deducting appropriate fees.

Initiate and process payments to landlords and contractors and deposit returns to tenants

Produce the correct paperwork to support the authorisation of payments to key external stakeholders.

Ensure landlords receive timely and accurate invoices and payments.

Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.

Deliver a high standard of customer service to key stakeholders, by using specialist knowledge to answer Finance queries correctly and efficiently.

Ensure the timely and accurate provision of transactional and customer information to the Finance team as required.

The jobholder will be expected to cover for absence/holiday of other team members; this requires significant knowledge of other team members' responsibilities

We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate

Educated to GCSE or equivalent standard in Mathematics and English Language.
Ability to prioritise
Experience in a customer facing role
Good analytical skills
Strong communication skills
