First Line Support Analyst

Nottingham, 35 hours per week (on a shift basis)

Here at The Nottingham we are heavily investing into our IT systems, it's an exciting time, with a large change agenda. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and customer focussed IT professional to join our IT Helpdesk team on a permanent basis.

For many of the staff who work at The Nottingham, you will be the first contact they will have with the IT department, as you, and the team, support our circa 750 staff with requests (such as password resets; system issues with banking applications; and hardware faults with computers).

You will be joining a supportive team who help each other to gain new skills, led by a manager who develops his team to progress. This is a superb time to join us - we are an ambitious company who are growing and leveraging industry leading technology to move the organisation forward.

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience of supporting users, over the phone, with PC related issues and queries, within an IT environment.

The key responsibilities of the First Line Support Analyst include:

Supporting users over the phone to resolve their issues within SLA timeframes or escalating to 2nd/3rd line as appropriate
Ensuring that all systems and applications are available to use
Maintaining and deploying devicesYou will have/be:

Previous experience of supporting users with PC related queries
Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Office - particularly relating to Outlook
Previous experience in a telephone based or customer service role

Please note that you will be required to work on a shift basis; the earliest shift is 6:30am - 2:00pm and the latest shift is 12:30pm - 8:00pm with shifts in-between. You will also be required to work approximately 1 in 4 Saturdays and you will receive a Shift Allowance (15% of your basic salary) to assist with this.
