This highly professional and established insurance company based in the Swansea Enterprise Park is now seeking to recruit an INSURANCE EXECUTIVE

Basic Salary
£20,000 to £22,000

Plus Commission
£30,000 OTE

Hours of Work
Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 5.30pm and Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm

The Insurance Executives are responsible for gathering risk information and providing our prospect and existing customers with quotations based on the customer requirements and in line with industry regulations and our internal quality assurance criteria.

An Insurance Executive will handle a range of products from Commercial Clients and provide key information on the products based on the answers to the questions asked in a non-advised manner.

To liaise with Manager on a day-to-day basis in regards to performance against Key Performance Indicators.

Principle Accountabilities
• To take an active role in both team and self-development. To actively participate in driving forward best practice, our company values and act as a role model to other employees.

• To generate sales from initial enquiries, utilising product knowledge and customer focused risk questioning.

• To promote optional and additional products based on customer needs and gain renewal dates to support the ongoing customer experience.

• To have a detailed understanding of all applicable business process and procedures relevant to the role.

• To use the required systems to arrange and process insurance contracts.

• All business written and quoted must be no other way than a compliant manner in line with our regulations and company procedures.

• Process payments in line with company standards for insurance contracts and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain a consistently high level of quality in all your work in line with company compliance standards.

• In addition to the knowledge and skills that have been identified for your role, you will also be required to undertake additional duties and tasks if asked to do so by your manager.

• Monitor and manage own performance and personal development in line with performance management system.

Grade Related Accountabilities
• Provide communication to the department and provide knowledge that better equips the team to improve performance e.g. Insurance industry updates, trades information, product knowledge, sales techniques and best practice.

• Act as value ambassadors, leading by example to influence positive change in the behaviours of call centre staff in line with values-based behavioural guidelines.

• Identify opportunities to further develop the areas performance, best working practises and business strategy.

• Encourage maintenance of productivity and performance levels in the absence of the Management team.

• Identify opportunities to provide learning and development support and / or drive development initiatives.

• Being an initial point of contact for any complaints.

• Support all agents with queries where necessary, being proactive and aware of where their assistance may be required.

• Demonstrate an awareness and compliance with the FCA principle for business.

• Comply with the Data Protection Regulations both in the office and in communications with clients.

• Enforce the Anti-Money Laundering procedures whilst dealing with clients.

• Have a good understanding of complaint handling and company processes and procedures for dealing with them.

• To comply with the policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook.

• To have an excellent understanding of products in your area.

• To ensure your product knowledge is consistently up to date through continual personal development and the attendance of workshops and training sessions provided by Compare Insurance.

• Achieved or working towards the Chartered Institute of Insurers Certificate.

• To use relevant software packages and required business systems in work production.

• To have an understanding of Microsoft Outlook.

• Access, monitor and manage own performance levels through MI.

• To have or gain an excellent understanding of our regulators.

• Develop a deep understanding of our compliance call criteria.

• Demonstrate excellent understanding of the role of the FCA in the insurance industry.

• Complete all annual mandatory learning as set by the company.

• Provide accurate product and services to allow customers to make an informed decision

• To actively question customers to identify insurance risks and introduce our range of products and services
