A skilled Maintenance Engineers with an electrical bias now sought to join a world leading supplier of Automotive Tier 1 products. With over 189 plants worldwide, the Maintenance Engineers will be joining a qualified professional maintenance team within a globally renowned company.

It is essential the Maintenance Engineers are electrically biased with solid mechanical ability & proven experience working within a fast moving manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Engineers will be working with a wide range of machinery including power presses, metal bending/forming, stretch bending and robot welding cells, therefore any experience of these would be highly advantageous.

Also required:

? Experience of PLC fault finding – Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley or Siemens S7

? Ability to repair and fault find ABB or Panasonic robots preferred

? Automotive industry experience within a maintenance engineer capacity would be excellent, however if you have a background within other automated industries we still want to hear from you

? Apprentice trained within a maintenance engineering environment – advantageous

? Strong understanding of hydraulics/pneumatics and servo drives – highly advantageous

Due to the nature of the role the sucesful Maintenance Engineer is expected to be involved in compulsive daily handovers. Owing to this working hours are 10 hour double days (06:00 – 16:00 / 16:00 – 02.00) In return our client are offering a competitive salary of up to £42,000, company pension, paid overtime and 24 days holiday + stats.

Based in the West Midlands, these roles are commutable from within and around the following areas: Stourbridge, West Bromwich, Halesowen, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Walsall, Kidderminster, Quinton and Redditch.
