Location: Woking, Surrey. UK
Reporting to the Vice President.

Position Summary:

Business Development Executives are the cornerstone of any successful organisation because they ultimately generate new revenue and help a company grow. So, with that in mind quite simply your main focus is to generate new clients within the UK Market for Denave Europe.

Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Executive:

• The first aspect of this role is to identify new business opportunities - new markets, new partnerships and new ways to reach existing markets, this much is obvious I am sure.
• Your priority is to acquire new customers and generate new business by offering our services to potential clients, with the overall goal of using these opportunities to bring in more revenue for Denave.
• Internally, the candidate will work closely with the VP of Denave Europe and other executives to champion channel originated deals with any organisation and ensure flawless execution with new clients.
• You’ll also need to keep your line manager updated on both your progress and timeline, providing them with accurate forecasting of anticipated meetings.
• This being a sales role, you will be subject to sales and KPI targets; this is a crucial part of the role.
• Sell integrated online and offline best practice solutions to key VP or C-Level decision makers within B2B companies.
• Act as a conduit between the prospect and appropriate operational personnel within Denave Europe’s operating units to identify, organize and focus the resources required to affect the sale.
• Drive complex services and/or technical sales involving multiple product groups and divisions.
• Successfully navigate politics within organizations (external and internal).
• Drive all business development activities including: opportunistic strategies, lead generation via aggressive prospecting, prospect qualification, needs assessments, deal management, competitive positioning, product demonstrations, proposal preparation and delivery, and contract development.
• Identify, organise and focus the resources required to close deals.
• Help create and drive strategy road map for inorganic channel growth and business development initiatives.

Competencies and Skills:

• A thorough understanding of B2B sales (channels, field sales, and/or enterprise sales), demand generation and go-to-market strategies & methodologies for technology manufacturers.
• Strong knowledge of customer care, sales processes and techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
• Dedication to providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to communicate professionally at all levels of the organization.
• Must be self-motivated, proactive, and a highly driven individual.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure and react positively to changes in business needs.
• Technology Sector knowledge is desirable although not essential

Experience required:

• Previous business development sales experience is a must.
• Proven track record in delivering new business client within an organisation.
• Background working in the IT industry, in particular, Software and Cloud Services is also a must.
• Experience using a CRM, specifically Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.
• Experience using prospecting tools such as LinkedIn.
