We are looking for a Trainee Para Planner to join this award winning, highly established Financial Services company in their Milton Keynes office.

Salary: £18,000 to £22,000 depending on the skills, education and relevant work history

Summary of the role of Para-Planner
A trainee Para-planner assists the Para-planner team with completing a number of the normally non-client facing tasks involved in preparing and administering a financial plan or report for a client.

They will possess excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and always be on top of what is legally compliant in the FS world.

Day to Day Duties & Responsibilities
-Preparing first appointment packs
-Sending requests for information to client providers
-Contacting providers
-Completing client reports along with research
-Analytics fund research
-Completing fact finds on the required back office system
-Preparing appropriate documents for individual clients
-Ensure relevant paperwork is complete/received
-File documents post meetings and submit to provider
-ID checks including sanction register check
-Send decisions summary to client post meeting
-Chase transfers and any new money and update client
-Case submissions
-Analyse risk questionnaire results
-Complete top up/new money letter to existing clients
-Prepare for new business meetings

Personal Attributes and Skills Required
- A dedication to excellent attention to detail for absolute accurate presentation documents to clients re their Financial Investments
- A constant willingness to learn and keep abreast of legal requirements in the Financial Services industry
-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Excellent IT skills especially MS Word and Excel
-An out and out team player
-Dedicated to the best customer service
-A proven organiser
-Great with customers
-Educated ideally to degree level but at the least, 5 GSCEs grade C plus along with related sector work experience
-Ideally work experience in the Financial, Banking or Insurance world
