Purpose of the role:
The role will involve workshop-based testing of printer parts and consumables, following strict quality assurance procedures.


Once fully trained, you will be responsible for conducting robust testing procedures on a varied mix of printer toners and consumables. Duties will include the following:
Manually testing, writing, delivering and reporting on parts and consumables test processes.
Developing an in-depth understanding of all new functionality / features and establishing new test protocols.
Developing printer repair knowledge under guidance from our in-house training department.
Documenting test results and completing Quality Assurance certificates.
Preparing print devices to act as the “test bed” prior to testing.
Being aware of and understand COSHH and Health & Safety Regulations and adhere to them while working in company workshops.
Being responsible for keeping the workshop area safe, clean and tidy
Highlighting issues with the supervisors.
Attending training courses and meetings as and when required.
Undertaking any other duties as and when required and directed by the workshop supervisors / manager.

Being responsible for personal health and safety and being aware of obligations to other staff and customers in accordance with legislation
Being aware of the importance of conformity with the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures’
Recognising the significant environmental aspects and impacts related with the work and the environmental benefits of improved personal performance’
Recognising the role and responsibilities as defined by the management systems’


Experience of using print devices e.g. photocopiers.
Able to use Microsoft Excel and Word.
Mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Work Pattern:

Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (30 minutes lunch break).
Overtime may be requested from time to time.
Closed on Bank Holidays
