aigo FIND have been retained by a global innovator in the Entertainment Tech sector to assist them in their search for an experienced Project Manager to join their team based in Derby.

We are looking for Project Managers with experience delivering projects that involve the physical installation of equipment by teams of Engineers across the UK and Europe. Experience in any one of IT, EPOS, ATM, Electrical, Lighting, Retail, Pub, Hospitality, Data or similar sectors would be advantageous.

Core Detail

•Installation of systems into Client venues (UK & EU)
•Range from small to medium size, 4-12 weeks duration, often deadline driven
•Average 4-5 projects at any one time
•On-Site visits required
•Internal departments: Retail Management, Venue Retail team lead, Marketing, Procurement, Technical and Engineering services, BAU support service
•External; Building/Shopfitting; Electrical, Infrastructure, Kit installation engineers.


To deliver multiple projects through the entire project lifecycle, within the agreed budget, timescales, and quality expectations.
Following agreed project processes, maintaining regular and full project reporting.
To be responsible for the planning and co-ordination of project activities across several internal departments, any external contractors/suppliers. Coordination with internal representative and client representatives.
Liaising with Project Management Office (PMO) and Project Management Team Leader (PMTL) regards resource capacity and planning.

Core Responsibilities

To Project Manage assigned projects to an appropriate level; projects vary in size and complexity.
▪ To work with PMO and other departments on project scoping and estimates.
▪ To define project objectives, tasks, control requirements, critical paths and content.
▪ To develop, maintain and update the individual project plans.
▪ Planning, scheduling and tracking of project stages and activities.
▪ Reviewing and requesting project resources during the project lifecycle.
▪ To manage and effectively co-ordinate projects to ensure resource capacity conflicts are minimized and managed appropriately when they arise.
▪ To lead cross department project teams consisting of internal and external resources.
▪ To ensure that effective risk, issue and change management is in place for all projects.
▪ To identify and mitigate/resolve any risks or issues during the life of the project.
▪ To ensure that key managers and project stakeholders are updated as agreed in communication plans against project status.
▪ To regularly update project status on the internal reporting tool.
▪ To regularly update project cost estimation and control.
To make recommendations to improve the existing processes.
▪ To undertake post project reviews and lessons learnt meetings.
▪ To represent the Department/Company professionally during meetings or visits with internal or external customers and contacts.
▪ This role will require flexibility as there may be extensive national and international travel requirements including Europe and the Far East.

This role is a full time permanent role based primarily from the Derby office though this role will require an element of travel to sites to oversee project works. Competitive annual salary and benefits package shared on application
