SEN Teacher required in a 'Good' SEN School that is set in beautiful surroundings on the edge of Epping Forest and within daily reach of London.

This post would suit a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher with experience teaching a broad and balanced curriculum to students, who all have a statement of special educational needs (SEN) or an education healthcare plan (EHCP).

The school is a specialist school with a statement of Special Educational Needs (SEN) for Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

This role is for the Summer Term, starting Early May or even earlier for the right candidate.

Our school is looking for an SEN Teacher to support a small group of 5-6, KS2 children who have a range of social, emotional and behaviour dififuclties.

* Proven SEN teaching experience.
*Your practice needs to be good or outstanding and experience of teaching children with severe learning difficulties and autism, including those with challenging behaviour and attachment issues.
* Successful experience of demonstrating a consistent level of inclusive teaching ensuring delivery of quality lessons that add value to pupils and school. Pupils do make at least good progress in a wide range of subjects, including reading, writing and mathematics. A few pupils make outstanding progress.
* Proven record of the effective implementation of and strong commitment to equal opportunities policies.

• The School promotes a healthy lifestyle wherever possible and have weekly activities available for all pupils including swimming, tennis, trampolining, rebound therapy, pony riding, yoga and forest walks. There are also visits to the gym, sports centre and adventure playground

* Qualified Teachers Status or equivalent teaching degree
*Have recent proven experience teaching SEN in a UK-based classroom
* Additional qualification in special educational needs (desirable)
* Team-Teach Certified (desirable)
*Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
