Job Title: Registered Nurse - Surgical Ward

** Annual Bonus + length of service bonuses + continuous training and career development**

Key Details: I am recruiting for a Registered Nurse who has experience within a Surgical Ward environment and is competent to work as part of a team and individually within this Private Hospital.

The Key details are -

Location: London, Located close to the City of London, East London and Canary Wharf, within easy access of Essex via Tube, bus and car.

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 per annum / £12.82 - £16.41 per hour (negotiable depending on experience

Bonus: Annual bonus provided.

Hours: Full Time - 37.5 Hours Per Week.

Contract Type: Permanent

Further Details about the role: I am looking to recruit a Registered Nurse, you will be required to use your skills and experience you already have within a Surgical Ward. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large and successful private hospital group and be part of a strong team. In this role, you will have the chance to gain experience in various types of surgery offered to the service users, including; Orthopaedic, Oncology, Endoscopy and much more. Your will carry out assessing health needs and carrying out duties as requested by the Sister. I am looking for a nurse who can show fantastic communications skills alongside good clinical knowledge which will ensure the best service is provided to patients.

Person Specification: to apply for this role you must hold a valid without restriction NMC Pin. A minimum of 12 months prior experience within a Surgical Ward either NHS or Private Healthcare based. You will have a good understanding of infection control and will appreciate the standards set by external bodies such as the CQC.

For this position you must hold Past record of academic achievement. As a Lead you must have experience in leading a team and developing services, experience of high volume cataract surgery under topical anaesthesia. A clear Understanding of audit and Clinical Governance is a must. As a Ophthalmology Clinician you should be able to offer expert clinical opinion on range of problems within ophthalmology, also be able to take full and independent responsibility for delivering service without direct supervision. I am looking for a Nurse who will act as an advocate for safeguarding patients, demonstrate courage to speak up when there are concerns about care.
