Salary : £38,000

Hours : 37.5 Per week - Monday to Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this highly respected company within the health care sector as a Deputy Manager Nurse in one of their beautiful, purpose built nursing homes. Opened in 2016, this beautiful facility has state of the art capacities and has a priority on personality and individuality within the home - it's really important each service user has freedom to make their space their own. You will be responsible for the supervision of the nursing team and care team, and providing key communication between Home Care colleagues, residents and administration, as well as the external individuals, such as families, GPs or voluntary organisations.

This role includes working Days, Monday to Friday, and there will be full training for all registered nurses. While we are looking for individuals with 3 + Years' experience within nursing and healthcare, it's just as important that you have the right personality and outlook towards nursing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead a multi-disciplinary shift team, supervising staff in all respects including training and development of care staff, and organising.

- Comply with the NMC Code of Conduct at all times and ensure processes are adhered to for the safe ordering, custody, storing, disposing and administration of all medication.

- Plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with the resident's needs and within the 'named nurse' system

- Contribute to the development of new ideas in nursing and social care in respect of stimulation for residents to improve their quality of life

Person Specification: You must be a qualified Registered Nurse to apply for this role (General Nurse ( RGN ) or Mental Health Nurse ( RMN )). The Home Manager welcomes applications from experienced nurse (3+ Years) who are looking to take a further step into management, with previous managerial responsibilities and supervisory roles preferred. You must have strong communication skills.
