Legal, Compliance & Administrative Assistant

This market leading foreign exchange firm, with offices in the heart of the City, are seeking a Legal, Compliance and Administrative Assistant to join their highly successful team on a permanent basis.

Operating within a small team, key responsibilities of the Legal, Compliance & Administrative Assistant will include:

· Undertaking legal research on a regular basis to ensure the team is fully up to speed on regulatory developments, and can respond to any queries on these matters
· Assisting the business with the implementation of new regulations
· Drafting and amending company contracts and other legal documentation
· Building and maintaining the firms standard documentation and business library
· Preparing responses for regulators, clients and other third parties
· Occasional involvement with HR relating to employment contract issues
· Assisting with ad hoc projects as and when required

Legal, Compliance & Administrative Assistant - what we're looking for:

· A Bachelors or Masters degree in Law, or equivalent
· Some previous experience within the Financial Services sector, either during university studies or following
· A basic working knowledge of FCA procedures, policies and standards
· Excellent research skills
· The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
· An individual who thrives under pressure, and can balance priorities in a fast paced environment
