A prestigious university is looking for an international sales manager to head up their international sales team.

Due to company restructuring this new role has presented itself, the candidate will be leading the international sales team and performing an international sales role within a designated region. Most of the international placements will be within the ME. You will liaise with management and the sales team effectively as well as supporting functions, in order to ensure the effective functioning of the department and deliver international student engagement and recruitment strategies.

You will work jointly for the university and a partner college. This new and exciting area of focus will enable both organisations to benefit from a closer and more co-ordinated approach, creating an escalator of learning opportunities for the marketplace.

The ideal candidate will be:
A confident communicator, you will be able to demonstrate excellent presentation and negotiation skills. You will be experienced at networking and influencing a variety of people at all levels and different cultures. Above all, you will be highly motivated and able to inspire and manage a sales team to meet multiple sales targets and personal quota.
Able to get up and go from the first week.
Able to spot business opportunities within the region and relay them back to senior faculty members.
Used to travelling to regular travel.
Knowledge of UKBA is essential.
Knowledge of Higher Education and working in FE and/or HE student recruitment would be an advantage, but not essential.
An AMEA language is desirable.
