Opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable officer to take their first step into management

Purchase Ledger Team Leader
Permanent - Full Time
£20-25,000 dependant on experience

This would be a fabulous role for an experienced Accounts Payable candidate to take the next step in their career and lead a small team within the larger finance department; you will need to have a little bit of management experience - ideally holding the fort in the absence of your current manager, as well as a really good understanding of the accounts payable function, including reconciliation and payment runs.
Any experience of a shared service or central finance function would be excellent, as would experience in the public or not for profit sectors.

You must be a superb communicator; motivational and nurturing, and the ability to keep a clear head under pressure is essential, as this is a very high volume role!

An appreciation and understanding of computerised accounting systems will be important; you must also be confident with the Full Microsoft Office suite.
