Primary functions

·Responsibility for the smooth running of the Projects & Installation teams.

·Ensuring that what the customer orders, is what he receives as a finished product & service on site.

·Co-ordination & liaison between Customer, Design Dept., Production Dept., Sub-contractors, Suppliers & Accounts Dept.

·Carrying out site surveys and attending site meetings.

·Carrying out site commissioning, handover & training visits.

·Liaison with site engineers during installation.

·Liaison with sales and estimating team.

·Monitoring & review of department performance.

·Active role in developing & maintaining Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental and CE marking systems.

·Technical backup for other departments.

·Assistance with the development of technical documents


Secondary functions

·Production of 2D DWG customer drawings for approval (using AutoCAD software or similar)

·Production of 3D DWG customer drawings for approval (using CAD MEP software or similar)

·Production of site method statements and risk assessments

·Obtaining quotes and ordering of bought out items from suppliers.

·Production and issuing of technical manuals.

·Constructive input during in house monthly design meetings.

·Assisting with the answering of external telephone calls during busy periods.

·In house research and development work and testing.
