An excellent job opening for an experienced legal secretary to work on a part time basis for a leading client

Your new company
A reputable and long-established soliciting firm, located in North Suffolk, are looking to add and experienced part time secretary to their family law team.

Your new role
Reporting into the Family Law solicitor you will be responsible for full secretarial support to the Family Law team, this includes; opening and closing files, general file management, diction typing (both through e-dictation and direct from fee-earner), transcribing and proof reading documents, time recording and invoicing, drafting and editing letters, e-mails, managing income and outgoing correspondence and organising the partner's diaries. More specific duties involve, copy and audio typing of both legal and financial documents; liaising with clients effectively, assist in managing case files and preparation of documents in readiness for collaborative customer meetings, conferences with counsel and general client meetings.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a legal or professional environment as a Legal Secretary and ideally have family law experience, but this is not essential.
Additionally, will be a highly accurate and efficient typist, have proficient skills across the Microsoft platform, have good communication and organisational skills. You will need to be able to work autonomously at times and also be flexible enough to work as a collaboratively
