Summit Veterinary Pharmaceuticals are recruiting for GMP/cGMP Manufacturing personnel for our growing pharmaceutical "Specials" company based in Kidlington, Oxfordshire.

This is an exciting time for our rapidly growing business and we are looking for a new members to join our team.

Brief Role Description:

·The post holder will undertake the manufacture of a wide range of Non-Sterile Pharmaceutical Products.

·Ensures compliance with all procedures and the current Rules and Guidance for Pharmaceutical Manufactures (Good Manufacturing Practice - GMP).

·Ensures correct and safe operation with guidance from procedures for mixers, balances etc.

Key Responsibilities:

·Ensures all activities in the department are carried out in accordance with the principles of GMP in order that all medicines manufactured are of the required quality, safety and efficiency.

·Ensure any changes to procedures, equipment or practices are adequately assessed via the formal change control process.

·Ensure the COSHH and Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to within the section.

·Ensure that the clean room and manufacturing equipment is maintained to the required standards.

·Ensuring documentation has been properly completed prior to QC final checks.

·Ensure weighing/dispensing is accurately performed in accordance with procedures and batch manufacturing records.

·To participate in all Production activities

·To liaise with QC to ensure deviations, out of specifications (OOS) and change controls are processed quickly and correctly

·To maintain personal training folder.

·To assist with new production/product projects as directed by the production manager.

·To undertake any task required by your Line Manager, and for which you have received full training

Key outcomes:

After successful completion of 6 months training (Probationary period) you will be expected:

To manufacture veterinary medicines with the highest level of care and attention, in accordance to processes and procedures.

To assist with training of trainee operators.

To manufacture under the health care regulatory guidelines and company policy.

Person specification :

Skills/ knowledge:


·Good organisation and communication skills

·Excellent team, interpersonal skills, and communication skills (both written and verbal)

·Attention to detail

·Demonstrated compliance, and safe adoption of working practices together with an understanding of the needs for precise and accurate documentation

·Knowledge of GMP related to Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Experience in solid dosage forms and oral liquid
