A Maintenance Engineer is required to provide Mechanical (60%) and Electrical (40%) support to all areas of manufacturing and their processes on a continuous day shift with attractive shift allowance.

You will be working in clean rooms and controlled areas while adhering to GMP standards. You will undertake scheduled Preventative Maintenance activities using SAP to ensure the control of spare components and process history.

As Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include;

  • providing support to achieve production output standards
  • maintain production machinery
  • plan and execute preventative maintenance programs
  • ensure sufficient machine spare parts are in stock
  • advise on technical issues
  • support Continuous Improvement activities
  • monitor machine performance
  • respond quickly to machine breakdowns.

The successful candidate will undergo skills training to enable you to work in a cleanroom and other certifications such as cGMP. You will be innovative and have a problem solving aptitude. You will be an excellent communicator and a team player and open to learning new skills.

You will have a qualification in either electrical or mechanical engineering such as C&G, HND or a time served apprenticeship. You will be qualified to 17th Edition level with a good knowledge of fault finding and repair in electrical and mechanical. You will have experience in PLCs, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. You will be IT literate and able to navigate systems easily. You will be organised and self-motivated with a safety awareness of electrical, compressed air and pressurised systems.
