Education Resources Assistant
Full time - Permanent - 35 hours
(to include some weekends)

Working for a highly regarded national organisation in the Oxfordshire countryside. My client is seeking an Education Resources Assistant to join their friendly team.

The Role:
The Education Resources Assistant will assist with providing a high quality learning environment for students, tutors and other users. Supporting with any pre-course arrangements for individual courses, ensuring availability of tools, equipment and resources. Setting up rooms for learning programmes, providing basic technical support, to include: laptops to run with the TV, setting up and using DVD players and other digital and audio visual equipment. The Education Resources Assistant will take ownership of maintaining an up to date inventory list of all learning equipment, furniture, tools, and learning materials. Working with the Learning Resources Coordinator to ensure all current Health and Safety regulations are adhered to. Informing the Learning Resources Coordinator of any problems with equipment, faults or stock shortages. General basic cleaning duties.

Essential skills:
Well organised
Experienced providing excellent customer service
Experienced user of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Excellent problem solver, with ability to liaise with external IT Support companies
Excellent communication skills

CRM experience
Health & Safety in a learning environment
First Aid at work
Experience working in an educational setting or conference centre

Essential GCSE Grades - A-C in English or equivalent

This is a full time role working 35 hours a week, it does require flexibility to work a rota of 5 in 7 days, shifts can be between 8.30am-8.30pm and will include some weekend days around the course timetable. Salary package:
£18,746 per annum, 28 days holiday + bank holidays, healthcare, personal pension with maximum employer contribution set at 8% & subsidised lunch.
