This is a paid internship. Salary: £NMW plus earn commission based on subscriber and social media targets.


How you can expect to spend your day:


This is a brilliant internship with varied tasks and things to learn about! On a typical day your list of priorities will change on a day to day basis so they may find themselves covering many admin roles. For example one day you may spend a sufficient amount of time emailing and contacting business for press pass releases, or to inform a business that they have been featured or recommended. On another day the focus may be organizing and sorting through information such as image filing, documentation and preparation of content. You will also implement day to day operative social media strategy and respond to social media engagement.


On a less typical day you will be involved in devising content strategy and planning work schedules and researching potential content.


Finally once you’ve developed some confidence and new skills are acquired, you will have the opportunity to get involved in the decision making process of content selection and social media strategy.


In the beginning you will learn from our client’s home office or at a remote destination where you will be trained and undertake some work shadowing. Down the line you will have the freedom to work on their own from home.


Skills you can expect to gain:


•You will develop organisational, research and communication skills.


•You will learn how to use social media as a marketing tool and develop editing and content management skills.


The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications:


A typical candidate for this position either has a methodical background, such as management, statistics and applied science, or you have a a media or literary background. You are an effective communicator and have already been exposed to content management systems. Extracurricular activities and experience in accounting, project management, editorial work and journalism are helpful.

You schedule will be flexible and negotiated ahead of time; you can work remotely from home or from your favourite coffee shop if you wish to do so.
