Planned Care Procurement Project Manager

Morgan Hunt's NHS client is looking to recruit an interim Planned Care Procurement Project Manager, for an initial 6-9 month period. The successful candidate will be a responsible for the procurement of planned care services within a major transformation programme in primary care, planned care and whole system integration as part of the organisations' Out of Hospital Strategy.

Key responsibilities of the Planned Care Procurement Project Manager:

*Procuring clinical services for the organisation.
*To support localities in developing the skill set required to undertake GP commissioning.
*To lead on the identification of QIPP and investment opportunities for community services.
*To support our organisational development programme for The Governing Body, The five member practice locality commissioning sub committees and the organisation team.
*To identify and develop training and development programmes that will enable Practices to deliver new services, GP networks to provide services, Support multidisciplinary working.

Key experience of the successful candidate:

*Hold a procurement qualification: post graduate diploma and/or Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply at advanced diploma level with a procurement and supply role.
*Must have previous Procurement Project Management experience within an NHS commissioning organisation; ideally with focus on Planned Care.
*Have substantial experience within clinical services procurement using competitive dialogue and experience within NHS/ government procurement
*Have experience in contracts negotiation and management
*Have experience of HR Legislation, policies and procedures.
*Be IT literate with advanced keyboard skills.
*Have experience of complaint handling within the NHS.
