A senior document controller is sought for a reputable contractor that specialise in data centre design, build and ongoing management based near Gatwick. They offer a fully integrated end-to-end solution and commit to work with customers throughout the life-cycle of their facilities. They are seeking a professional and experienced document controller who wants to join an established but growing business and be part of a team striving to deliver excellence and innovation in the data centre industry.

Established over 25 years ago this contractor provided technical expertise in the design, build and management of data centres, server rooms and comms rooms across the UK working with multi-national organisations through to SME's. Within their in-house expertise they are able to provide clients a "one stop shop" for all aspects of data centre design and management. Historically working with a host of Main Contractors their client bases has evolved over the last few years and currently they are undertaking a high portion of work direct with end clients to include Universities, Hospitals, Banks, Insurance Providers and Retailers.

Role duties for the successful senior document controller will include:

-To assist with the design and implement a Document Management system, in line with the ISO standard and Project processes.
-Once system is in place, to take full responsibility for the management, maintenance and formatting of all Company documentation , forms and indexes
-To control circulation, ensuring that the latest revisions are administered and distributed promptly to relevant teams
-To maintain and control the document control process and ensure appropriate storage of hard and soft copy material in line with the ISO procedures
-Ensure the companies online portals Huddle is synchronised and updated with the in-house directories
-To assist in the management and implementation of the document control systems
-Maintaining and updating sales templates in line with company marketing and branding guidelines
-Production of responses to PQQ , Tenders and final contract documentation
-Ability to utilise and merge MS software packages to optimal effectiveness delivering business benefits
-Assist with production of Powerpoint presentations for the business as required
-Assist with preparation of company financial annual report
-Checking that all information complies with specified Company formats, templates and standards in line with marketing and branding guidelines
-Archiving, retrieval and storage of documentation adhering to company standards and policies
-The awareness of all necessary procedures to ensure that Document Management is carried out at optimum effectiveness

The successful applicant will have the following skills/experience:
-Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio & Powerpoint
-Experience with document control and management
-Attention to detail and accuracy
-Time Management
-Results and quality focused individual
-Excellent Organisational skills
-Process driven
-Ability to work under own initiative
