1st/2nd Line Support / Technical Support Analyst- 6 months FTC - up to £20,998 pa pro-rata - Nr Reading.

My client is an established well know UK wide organisation and is looking for an experienced 1st/2nd Line Support / Technical Support Analyst to join their team. A detailed knowledge of network architecture, configuration, hardware, Microsoft operating systems and applications is required for this position. The 1st/2nd Line Support / Technical Support Analyst will have the ability to manage customer expectation and respond immediately to high priority incidents, with the flexibility to handle multiple incidents concurrently in a high pressured environment.

Due to remote location candidates must have their own mode of transport e.g. car/motorbike.
- Proven experience of acting as the IS technical support representative in a multi-site organisation with in excess of 1,000 users.
- Experience of liaising with external suppliers who are involved in service delivery to ensure required service levels are maintained.
- Proven experience with: Networking (TCP/IP) including switch configuration/replacement/diagnosis, MS Office, Windows XP/7, PC hardware (Laptops, desktops, Printers etc.), Apple Mac hardware and software, Microsoft Server 2003/2008, Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007, Microsoft Active Directory 2003/2007, IP Telephony (Cisco), IP Video Conferencing.
- Proven hardware and software troubleshooting of PC compatibles
- Proven troubleshooting within a networked environment including VPN and remote access. - Proven awareness and knowledge of networking principles and practices.
-Flexibility to travel to other locations if required.
- MCSE Qualified, ITIL Foundation qualification.
