The client
The Green Recruitment Company are currently working alongside a leading Energy Consultancy based out of the West Midlands who are currently looking for a Business Development Executive to join their growing team

Job Description
Responsible for outbound calling to a regional database of high-energy users in the UK, building relationships over the telephone and securing new business appointments for a team of Business Development Managers.

Candidate requirements
• Previous experience in an outbound, b2b calling telephone based role.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to listen and question effectively.
• Good attention to detail with the ability to record information accurately and with care.
• Demonstrable initiative and enthusiasm.
• Ability to work under pressure to individual targets.

Candidate responsibilities
• Provide genuine new business opportunities through the generation of fully qualified business appointments booked via the telephone.
• Clearly promote the benefits of the services available, communicating professionally, confidently and respectfully.
• Work from a well organised task list, ensuring that all call backs on your database are diarised correctly.
• Accurately record information relating to all calls, providing clear notes for the Business
• Development Supervisor and Business Development Managers to understand.
• Update all relevant fields correctly on the database, based on any revised information received from conversations with prospects.
• Assist the Business Development Managers in getting back in contact with prospects where they are having difficulties.
• Share successful approaches to calls and objection handling with other team members.
• Take personal responsibility for understanding of market intelligence and the services on offer and how best to effectively impart that knowledge to prospects.
• Follow the advised responses to all objections. Flag any gaps in your knowledge to your supervisor for additional training.
• Support the marketing department with the follow up of any marketing communications campaigns, providing detailed feedback when required
