Are you an experienced Healthcare Support Worker looking for a new challenge? We have exciting opportunities within Cygnet Hospital Bierley.

Cygnet Hospital Bierley is a modern, purpose-built hospital, conveniently located in a quiet suburb of Bradford, just minutes from the M62 which provides the hospital with good transport links with the towns and cities of West Yorkshire including Halifax, Huddersfield and Leeds.

The hospital offers a range of services across four wards, including mental illness and personality disorder, and provides our team of RMNs, support workers, doctors, therapists and consultants with a challenging, yet very rewarding, work environment. All our services are provided under the umbrella of a recovery orientated approach and reviewed through the CPA framework.

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare Support Workers with experience of care work in a mental health setting, a good awareness of security and health and safety and who can demonstrate a good knowledge base of Cygnet Hospital Bierley’s patients’ specific needs.

You will be required to assist the patients in activities of daily living, facilitate Section 17 leave, carry out regular observations, take responsibility for providing an excellent standard of care to all patients and enhance their experience of admission to the hospital.
