Our client is seeking an IT Manager to provide a reliable and stable IT infrastructure and support service to all operational and support locations.Working within the IT team defining and implementing group, business and departmental strategy.


  • Day to day supervision of the IT support team providing a first level of escalation for any queries.
  • Coordinate all IT activities across operational and support locations.
  • Owner of the IT service desk process, providing management reports to the Head of Systems and Processes.
  • Provide a stable and secure IT Infrastructure across all locations
  • Lead all IT infrastructure projects and provide support for business transformational projects as required.
  • Define and implement a robust an IT disaster recovery plan to include single file recovery to full infrastructure recovery.
  • Setting targets and goals for the IT support team in line with business and department objectives.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers to identify efficiencies in the deployment and adoption of IT systems.
  • Manage software and service renewals as they fall due
  • Liaise with group colleagues to identify best practices and synergies.
  • Ensure compliance with company, group and legislative requirements.
  • Conduct weekly departmental meeting, documenting discussion points and allocating actions.
  • Deputise for the Head of Systems & Processes and other IT colleagues where required.
Skills and Experience

  • Proven IT management experience
  • Proven knowledge of performance management
  • Working knowledge of IT operations (servers, networking)
  • Strong technical knowledge/understanding of data architecture and technologies, project management lifecycle.
  • HNC or equivalent qualification
  • Proven project management experience
