- We are seeking a Hospital Sales Representative / Business Development Manager for a dynamic and growing ophthalmology company
- Our Client has an extensive product range within the ophthalmology market and as a Hospital Sales Representative you would be responsible for selling your portfolio of products to healthcare professionals within Secondary Care


- Selling a portfolio of ophthalmology products into healthcare professionals within secondary care to include consultants, ophthalmologists and specialist nurses. Also educating the HCP's on the benefits and use of the products to increase product awareness
- Demonstrating the ability to overcome obstacles that prevent you from meeting and exceeding sales growth on your territory
- Working strategically to maintain and strengthen internal relationships with the Regional Account team including Primary Care Representatives and Healthcare Development Managers, educating them about favourable pathways and protocols
- Increasing market share in each area in line with company objectives
- Consistently demonstrating the ability to prioritise time, money and resources around identified key opinion leaders
- Demonstrating high levels of planning and with other key internal stakeholders produce and implement key account plans
- Achievement of sales targets and other key objectives
- Development and updating of monthly key account plans outlining tactical actions


- Current Secondary Care experience and existing contacts on this territory
- Proven sales track record in Secondary Care sales
- You will have a strong network of Customers on this territory with a motivated approach to working in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of the NHS
- A positive approach with the passion and drive to succeed
- A strong work ethic motivated by challenge
- ABPI qualified
- A full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points


- Educated to a minimum of 'A' level standard
- Able to plan and prioritise your workload based on business potential, optimising sales potential
- Flexible in your approach to work, thriving in a small yet evolving company
- Able to communicate effectively with customers with differing needs, influencing and negotiating appropriately
- Able to learn and communicate product information effectively
- Professional, highly motivated and keen to exceed the expectations of customers
- Knowledgeable within ophthalmology but not essential
