- You will be working within a dynamic multi-faceted Global Healthcare / Pharmaceutical organisation who have market leading brands within their portfolio
- This is an opportunity for you to really create a profile within this organisation - the team is high performing and we are looking to an individual with the capability and determination to continue this trend across the territory area


- As a Hospital Sales Specialist you will be responsible for delivering the sales of your product portfolio to a range of Health Care Professionals within the hospital environment who are involved in treating patients in a niche therapy area
- You will also be given exposure into the hospital theatre environment, having initial conversations with Surgeons regarding a new product - the Surgical Trainer will then educate the Surgeons on the use of the product
- Driving sales in line with the ABPI Code of Practice
- Delivering the sales strategy in line with company targets and working effectively with your territory colleague to deliver this
- Achieving monthly, quarterly and annual market share growth for territory in line with agreed goals and objectives
- Creating, implementing and updating with territory colleague your Key Account Plan as required
- Delivering customer educational meetings - some of these meetings may need to be conducted outside normal business hours
- Ensuring all activity and use of materials are compliant with ABPI / IPHA Code of Practice and company SOPs
- Responsible for identifying and informing Line Manager of any formulary and tender dates for review
- Sharing best practice with colleagues through appropriate communication as agreed with Line Manager
- Increasing market share in each area in line with company objectives


- ABPI Qualified
- Full, UK Driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Ability to work off own initiative alongside forward planning and prioritisation
- Proven successful sales track record


- Be educated to degree level, ideally with a science base
- Have pharmaceutical sales experience within the hospital selling, or a strong track record of performance in GP/Hospital pharmaceutical sales
- Have demonstrable skills in business planning and key account management
- Have current/previous ophthalmology experience - ALTHOUGH THIS IS NOT ESSENTIAL
