We are advertising for a Head teacher for Unsted Park School, but we want this to be more than a job.

Unsted Park has the makings of a centre of excellence and we are looking for someone who can take it there. Our vision is that the head teacher will use their creativity, energy and passion to establish a flagship school that sets the standard for special education needs.

More than anything we want the right person, a natural leader, who is motivated, passionate and will look to move growth forward and develop strategy.

Experience in ASD is not essential and we will consider non-traditional backgrounds.

Unsted Park School is a specialist residential and day school/6th Form College for children and young people with high functioning autism and associated co morbid conditions such as OCD, PDA and ADHD. We are committed to providing the highest level of education and care in a safe, positive environment and it is our intention that every pupil will achieve their full potential in both academic and personal development, take up new challenging goals and work hard to achieve them.

For all roles we require a minimum of two references. References provided must cover the last 5 years.

Please be advised that references will be requested prior to interview for all roles within our schools.

If you are applying to work within our Children’s Homes we will need to request all references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults.
