My client is global business who has established a strong position in global markets

The Role

Working to recognised ERP principles, deploy, enhance and maintain the corporate SAP systems to meet business and statutory requirements. The key activities are as follows

  • Provide leadership and support for multinational SAP implementations
  • Analyse and interpret both new internal and external business requirements
  • Review and re-engineer processes, taking into account ERP global practices and procedures
  • Design integrated SAP solutions taking into consideration full functional impacts
  • Document and test solutions
  • Communicate clearly and effectively new process solutions and systems changes
  • Address training needs arising out of new or changing processes
  • Act as point of contact for both business customers and external configuration partners
  • Contribute to the future direction of the application of SAP within Rolls Royce
  • Engage with the business recommending process and system enhancements, taking advantage of future SAP development

  • Multi-project, hands-on configuration experience within specific areas of SAP
  • In depth knowledge of specific operating processes
  • Substantial participation in regional/global process re-engineering and standardisation
  • Project management capability (including Vendor management)
  • Appropriate functional qualifications or certifications (e.g. ACMA)
  • Thorough understanding of SAP user maintenance, roles, and profiles
  • Extensive experience of maintenance of SAP security
  • Detailed knowledge of SAP HR and user master data
  • Awareness of SAP HR and ERP functionality is preferred
  • Must display a proactive and innovative approach to maintaining the integrity of SAP
  • Apply changes using risk management techniques
  • Experience of IT implementation projects and project management skills are desirable
  • Highly computer literate
  • Must be flexible, able to work on several concurrent activities and able to manage 3rd party vendors
