The Company

The Green Recruitment Company is representing an international consultancy working within the offshore engineering marketplace. Having recently won some large contracts, they now require further employees to deal with increased workload. This role requires a candidate happy to work on a contract basis paid on a daily rate.

The Role:

• Development of the planning hierarchy and integrations across the full enterprise of project schedules
• Establishing the structure of work to be controlled for the project against the agreed scope (defining the Work Breakdown Structure for offshore projects)
• Developing the strategy for all activities, milestones, logic and durations that drive the programme to completion.
• Building the basis of schedule to underpin the baseline in readiness for acceptance, including the ability to review Basis of Schedule and benchmark similar scopes of work
• Development of rules of credit or key quantities to underpin schedule performance
• Reporting against the schedule to include for physical work completed and forecast of work to complete, including for what-if modelling
• Reporting to the project team to include for presentation of various measurement tools to include for, milestones, float erosion and activity start and finish and trend of performance against baseline dates
• Management of change control through the schedule to assure the baseline is current at all times and that key trends and changes are recorded for future learning
• Interfacing with the cost function to assure Earned Value Information is accurate and that forecast information is robust and underpinned

The successful candidate will be an expert with planning systems in particular Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to include for how this might interface with cost management systems. You also must have experience of establishing and defining systems approaches to meet a client needs
