Teacher of Science (Physics/Chemistry)
Capita Education is currently recruiting on behalf of the Hundred of Hoo Academy based near Rochester (Kent) for a Teacher of Science (Physics/Chemistry) to start in July 2013.
Hundred of Hoo is a large school with a Sixth Form. It gained foundation status in January 2009 and became a National Challenge Trust School in January 2010. The successful partnership with 'the Math' was further strengthened in September 2011, when the Hundred of Hoo converted to Academy status as part of the Williamson Trust.

The successful department has 12 fully operation laboratories and one computer science room furnished with 30 computers, 10 laboratories have a fully functional interactive whiteboard and the department has a wealth of software, which can be used in conjunction with the white boards to support learning. The department is very well resourced to ensure that science lessons involve a practical element to motivate students and engage them in their lessons. All three sciences are taught at all key stages, with subject specialists teaching triple science and advanced level students.
