Billing clerk trainee
Overseas Courier Service (London) Ltd (trading as OCS Worldwide) has been established for 60 years, with its UK operation starting in 1957. The company is part of a network that operates globally and is involved mainly in the distribution of ecommerce products internationally.
The Finance department is responsible for processing all transactions within the business and preparing management reports as well as managing cash and complying with statutory requirements.
Outline of role
There are many products within the OCS portfolio. This role is an entry level role into the finance department and will be primarily focused on; weekly and monthly billing, collecting payments from customers and allocating payments.
Use of Sage, Sun and in house systems
Use of Excel and word
Contacting customers and requesting payment
Resolving customer queries
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Desire to join finance team and gain experience
Ability to work without supervision
Knowledge of Sage
