I am currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join a hugely successful and growing business in Deeside. You will report into Group level with reporting lines into the Finance Business Partnering Team. Within this fast paced and acquisitive organisation you will take responsibility for supporting the team with the provision of reports, analysis and commentary on monthly business performance, the creation and submission of business plans and quarterly forecasts as well as organisation of forecasting timetables and schedules, development and maintenance of planning and forecasting tools and ad hoc analysis of business performance as required.

Duties will include:

* Planning and forecasting - support the rolling business forecasting process and the annual business budgeting process. Assist with the implementation, development and deployment of a new planning/forecast system, undertake plan/forecast reconciliations and support the delivery of financial plans and forecasts to meet Group deadlines
* Performance and Value Adding Analysis - Perform required analysis to support understanding of multiple aspects of business performance across a number of lines of business. Deliver high quality reports, analyses and projections to the Finance Business Partners and the Group Financial Planning Accountant and respond to management feedback
* Help Implement, Develop & Maintain Planning Tools - Implement, develop and maintain new efficient financial reporting and planning tools to deliver high quality reports, analyses and projections
* Apply Best Practice - Investigate and apply best practice in business planning, forecasting and performance reporting
* Business engagement - Supporting business partnering and planning services to the business, ensure strong communication links across the business.
* Wider contribution - contribute to overall goals of the Finance Function through active participation in team and departmental meetings, and supporting internal initiatives

Qualifications & Experience:

* Part-Qualified/Qualified in a relevant Accountancy Qualification
* Experience of working in a similar analysis role
* An understanding of the processes and procedures that support the financial planning/forecasting/budgeting functions
* The ability to work independently, flexibly and proactively at pace
* Be a critical thinker, possess strong commercial insight and have the ability to utilise data to lead key decisions
* Excellent spreadsheet, data-management and communication skills, able to work with all levels of management
* Be well organised and able to handle multiple projects within tight timelines
* Be able to demonstrate an enthusiastic and positive approach towards solving business problems and operational improvements
* Be comfortable working in a dynamic team environment with an appetite for a challenge
* Experience with ERP and planning systems would be a plus
