Based in Leeds City Centre, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Cashier who is keen to develop their career in an award winning organisation. You will be awesome at supporting members of staff by dealing with client account transactions, along with ensuring CLC Account Rules are complied with. Supporting Management by taking telephone calls and dealing with clients will be a task you love!

Key Responsibilities:

Dealing with Clients & suppliers in a professional manner either on the telephone or face to faceCompleting Client bank reconciliations on a daily basis.Checking all bills & completion statements before being sent to client.Completing & posting outgoing CHAPS, BACS and cheque payments to relevant client ledgersAdvising relevant Fee Earners & Assistants of incoming CHAPS & BACS payments and posting the same to the relevant ledgersPosting bills to the ledgers ensuring that postings are to the correct referrer.Making Client to Office transfers regarding bills and disbursements and transferring funds at the bankChecking no client ledgers are overdrawn and office accounts are not in credit.Making necessary Office to Client transfers on the ledgers and at the bank to comply with CLC Accounts RulesRun reports for Fee earners to ensure compliance to CLC Accounts Rules and acting upon information received from the reports.Carrying out archiving on the accounts systemOrdering files from archive when requestedCompleting salaries on a weekly basis and posting to Nominal Ledger in the absence of the Financial controllerCovering certain roles of Financial Controller in their absence relating to client ledgersAnswering the main telephone number and the door entry system, dealing with relevant clients Collate daily outgoing Royal Mail & DX post, recording and preparing for collectionAny other roles that the Management deems appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar capacity, with exceptional MS Office 2007 or later package experience (E-mail, Internet, Word & Excel) and experience in Legal Accountancy packages.
