My client, a well established online retail business based in North Yorkshire is recruiting a Digital Marketing Manager to join their fast paced, forward thinking business. We are looking for a Strategic individual to build and head up a marketing team, to establish the brand position across both digital and offline channels, with an international reach as an ambition.
Digital Marketing:
Develop, implement, track and optimise digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels
Developing online marketing strategy, working with CEO & MD and agencies to execute this
Driving improvements in acquisition and conversion for the online channels
Manage and deliver results in SEO, and PPC performance
Manage agency on best practise techniques in online
Managing Online Budgets
Broad knowledge of trends across digital mediums, (web, mobile, social media)
Regularly analyse competitor web practice and make recommendations for improvements based on findings
Ecommerce – look at improvements on all customer journeys online
Managing the business website and customer journeys, including using the CMS system and emails
Providing further development of the website including reports and analytical knowledge
Oversee aggregator online customer journey and experience
Lead customer retention management and support new customer acquisition
Identify and establish third party relationships / partnerships
Brand Marketing:
Working closely with the CEO/MD to build and execute plans for profitable growth for the brand with trade customers and channels
Setting short and medium brand plans for growing brand awareness
Working to brand guidelines at all times
Develop and execution of all aspects of the marketing activity plan
Developing new products from brief to launch working with team members
Management of the marketing expenditure budget
Market research to improve understanding of brand, consumers and competitors
Development and execution of all aspects of the marketing activity plan
Developing new products from brief to launch alongside teams

You should ideally have a Bachelor's degree or be CIM/DIM qualified, with extensive digital marketing experience in a senior marketing management position in fmcg/food/online retail sectors
Must be currently working in a senior digital role - essential
You will be able to demonstrate success in developing a UK brand into different stages of growth through both digital and offline marketing channels
Evidence of leading outstanding marketing campaigns across both channels
Possess both B2C and B2B experience
Excellent knowledge of SEO, PPC, Digital Marketing, Social Media, Automation & CRM strategies
Some knowledge of offline marketing, implementing brand strategies, marketing collateral, pr, trade marketing - desirable
Be a Strategic thinker
Able to manage multiple projects
Have a passion for food
You will enjoy a competitive basic salary of £55k-£70k (depending on experience) 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and company pension. This role is office based with a view after 6 months, 25% home based, with flexible working hours if need be.
