A number of our Clients operate with formal procurement methodologies, incorporating their service level agreements within Preferred Supplier Contracts and Supply Frameworks.We are delighted to be assisting our client with the Recruitment of a Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to work in a safe and secure care environment for men and women whose mental health has rapidly declined or worsened.You will be working within an intensive care psychiatric hospital for people with multiple conditions, complex health needs and challenging behaviour, such as acute psychotic episode, drug-induced psychosis, schizophrenia, risky behaviours and many more.Key responsibilities & dutiesAs a Registered Nurse (RMN) working in the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) your main duties will be:To actively participate with the multidisciplinary team in formulating care plans and utilising appropriate assessmentsAdministering drugs and checking preparations in accordance with company policy and procedures and NMC guidelinesProviding assistance and clinical leadership in the induction/development and supervision of new and junior staffRegularly reviewing risk factors and working in conjunction with other health professionals to modify care plans as appropriateEnsuring that clinical practice is evidenced based and consistent with relevant NICE guidelines and the organisations policies and proceduresLiaising effectively with all actively involved in the care process, including carers and relatives, aspiring to provide an effective, seamless and integrated service to patients/residentsTo protect vulnerable adults/children from internal/external factors and act as a Patient AdvocateWork experience & qualificationsTo join as a Registered Nurse you will be:-A Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (Mental Health, Adult, Child, Learning Disabilities) appropriate to the jobAble to maintain professional standards of practice at all timesFlexible and adaptable, well organised and able to manage time and workload effectively in line with the needs of the serviceAble to motivate, lead and supervise a teamPerson centred, showing empathy with a desire to make a differenceProfessional in your approach to customer careMotivated with the desire to expand your professional development and support organisational changeAble to provide demonstrable experience of working in mental health and of enhancing careLegally entitled to work in the UKPlease send over your CV for consideration.
