An experienced Key Stage 2 teacher is urgently required for a dynamic and creative school in North/East Cornwall. If you are a fully Qualified Primary teacher with prior demonstrated experience in YR5/6 who is flexible and available immediately then this could be an ideal position for you!

The school is set in a welcoming and supportive community and has developed strong values and ethos surrounding this, the school welcomes a creative curriculum and is fully invested in enriching every child's learning experiences and providing the foundations for an exciting and rewarding lifelong education. The number of statemented Children with special educational needs is significantly above average in relation to other rural schools and the majority of these pupils have severe learning and/or behavioural difficulties. For this reason all applicants for this position must have prior experience in this area and must be recognised for having exceptional classroom and behaviour management skills.

This school does encompass mixed year groups and planning will be required. All applicants must be happy teaching and planning for all subjects within the current national curriculum. Teachers with subject specialisms in Numeracy, Literacy and ICT will be at an advantage. The successful applicant will also be expected to make use of outdoor classrooms and must be happy embracing a creative and pupil specific curriculum.

This position is Long term starting immediately until the end of the academic year; all applicants must have at least 2 years experience working within a educational environment with specific experience in a YR5/6 class.

All applicants must be Fully Qualified, (UK fully qualified teachers who hold QTS, overseas trained applicants are welcomed providing that they have a recognised teaching qualification from a recognised overseas university) if you are not you will not be considered for this position.
