Type of person we are looking for
We are looking for self-starters who can hit the ground running and are keen to progress upwards within a well-established team. You must either be a recent graduate in a technical field (such as: Computer Science/Physics), have a mathematical degree or similar discipline, or have 6-12 months’ experience in an Analyst/Developer type role.

Other key qualities will be excellent logical/mathematical skills combined with the ability and determination to learn and develop within an IT technical environment.

Role of the Configuration Analyst
As a Configuration Analyst, your primary responsibility will be the definition and configuration of insurance products on to the client’s proprietary software tool.

The role offers exciting career progression options and could see you extend into Business Analyst services (where you could work on client site and attend client meetings in the City) or you could remain on the technical side. If you prove yourself in this role, then depending on your skill set, drive and desire, there will different routes of career progression open to you.

Key responsibilities:
·Design and configuration duties
·Work with the business and project teams to interpret requirements and translate in to technical product requirements
·To guide and advise business stakeholders and to create any relevant supporting documentation in a structured and articulate manner
·Provide support to prepare and maintain training material
·Produce technical and non-technical documentation
·Work within project teams to agree and produce deliverables
·Interact and communicate with users and stakeholders to provide advice and support
·Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective knowledge sharing and ongoing skill development
·To play an integral role in ongoing client support

·Strong communication skills, both written and verbally
·Passionate and enthusiastic approach to your work and ability to interact well with others
·Professional and well-mannered
·Calm under pressure and ability to work within fast paced environments
