Your new company
Your new job working as a PI Account Handler will be for a specialist Independent Insurance Broker with offices based around the UK to include the City, Hertfordshire and West London who provide services to meet client demands and needs. They have more than 100 staff and are looking to expand that number further. Due to substantial growth within the PI team, a permanent position as a PI Account Handler has arisen.
Your new role
Your new job working as a PI Handler means you will be responsible for managing both New Business and Renewals for the PI team and providing comprehensive insurance service to existing and potential new clients. You will be responsible for building good working relationships with brokers and other agents as well as trying to develop new business opportunities. In addition to this, you will be responsible for the production of technical documentation to include MRC Slips and Endorsements. Other duties include; liaising with Insurers, Brokers and Underwriters on a daily basis.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as an all-encompassing PI Account Handler will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have proven experience handling complex PI business, negotiating competitive terms with Underwriters and be able to confidently produce all technical documentation to include; MRC Slips and Market presentations. Ideally, you will be professionally qualified and have extensive experience handling PI risks.
