St Christopher's is a leading charity for children and young people and we are proud of our history for providing fostering, children's homes and a range of innovative leaving care and homelessness services across the UK & Isle of Man. We now have an exciting new role. We are looking for a Fundraising Officer to help maximise our fundraised income so we continue raising even more to fund our rapidly-growing services for our young people in care. You will be responsible for producing successful fundraising bids and developing corporate social responsibility opportunities to bring in restricted and unrestricted income for St Christopher’s in line with our budgeted expectations. You will also contribute to our fundraising communications and support the writing of our bi-annual newsletter as well as having responsibility for fundraising administration. The successful candidate will ideally have: Minimum 1 years experience of successful income generation through fundraising activity in the following areas: charitable trusts and foundations, and corporate world. Knowledge of the fundraising environment and regulatory framework in the voluntary sector. Excellent writing and editing skills. Creativity, high level presentation and project management skills. Excellent communication, networking, and strong relationship building skills.
