Major Funding Administrator Vincent Square, London 35 Hours £25,000 per annum The Royal Horticultural Society has been the force behind gardening for more than 200 years. Best known for our world famous Flower Shows and Gardens, our charitable work is diverse and includes connecting millions of children with nature through the RHS Campaign for School Gardening, supporting RHS Britain in Bloom, Europe’s largest community gardening campaign, and conducting pioneering horticultural science research. We believe everyone in every village, town and city should benefit from growing plants to enhance lives, build stronger, healthier, happier communities and create better places to live. We want to enrich everyone’s life through plants and make Britain a greener and more beautiful place. The RHS has launched a major £160million investment programme, which includes exciting new projects, from creating a new 5th Garden in Salford to a new state of the art Centre for Horticultural Science and Learning at RHS Garden Wisely. The Major Funding Administrator will report to the Major Funding Manager within the Major Funding team who are fundraising for the RHS investment projects. The RHS has an enviable network of Major Donors and family Trusts & Foundations to help fund our ambitious targets. As the Major Funding Administrator you will be highly organised and experienced in responding to donor needs as well as having a keen attention to detail and an interest in major donor fundraising. You will assist in achieving ambitious targets by supporting the team with the running of a programme of major fundraising events, cultivation meetings and a very structured system of prospect engagement.
