An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our motivated and friendly team in Oncology Outpatients and Chemotherapy Suite.

Due to the nature of the role you must have recent experience of working as a Healthcare assistant in an acute hospital setting.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative Healthcare Assistant who has experience working within an acute hospital setting. We would like you to work in the busy treatment and clinic areas supporting the Nursing team and helping Clinicians in providing high quality care in Oncology Outpatient Department. Please ensure you read the person specification to ensure you are a suitable applicant.

You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a multidisciplinary team but to recognise your limitations and seek advice/support as required.

In return we can offer you a stimulating working environment in a challenging area of practice that is continually developing.

Current hours of work are between 8am – 6pm Mon-Fri with possible plans to expand the service until 8pm and to cover Saturdays and bank holidays as service needs dictate.
