We are currently working in partnership with one of the biggest Private Hospital Organisations in the UK.

Their Hospital in Somerfield, Maidstone is currently looking for a Lead Theatre Practitioner for their Theatre department. This is a Full-Time position 37.5 hour per week.

You will need to meet the following Criteria:
•Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
•Post-registration qualification relevant to functional specialty i.e. Advanced Scrub Practitioner or Surgical First Assistant qualification [for scrub leads].
•Approved / recognised anaesthetic course.
•Mentorship qualification
•Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills across a range and varied patient case mix and competent across a range of skills.
•Previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment.
•Previous experiencing managing and leading a clinical team.
•Motivated and enthusiastic.
•Caring and Professional nature.

Role and responsibilities:
•To provide quality planned care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care
•To support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Department
•Assist in the delivery of patient care
•Contribute to quality improvement
•Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and self
•Promote best evidence based practice within own scope of practice
•Apply legislation, policies and procedures correctly.
•Respect the patient's dignity, privacy, wishes and beliefs.
