Specialised Physiotherapist, Community Neuro Rehabilitation and Early Supported Discharge for Stroke.
This static post provides an exciting opportunity to work in CLCH community neurorehabilitation service.. The post holder will be a member of the dynamic multi-disciplinary community neuro team, working with a mixed caseload of clients, including early supported stroke discharge and progressive neurological conditions. The service provides client-centred intervention for individuals within their homes, clinic settings and the wider community.
Interview Date: tbc
Applicants should have experience in the assessment and treatment of stroke and other neurological conditions. You will be responsible for the assessment and management of individuals to promote their independence and support long-term management of their condition.
You will be required to communicate complex needs across a number of agencies and provide training to junior staff.
You should have good organisational skills, a commitment to multi-disciplinary working and an understanding of working alongside social services and voluntary agencies.
The post is well supported by a team lead and highly specialist neurological therapists from within CLCH. There will be significant opportunities for development of your neuro -rehabilitation skills through regular supervision, in-service training and joint working opportunities.
