TTM have an opportunity for nurses to gain experience in Cardiology and Echo with one of our clients based in Oxford.

Our client is a wold renowned centre of excellence and one of the UK's largest teaching hospitals. Their facilities are spanned across 4 sites within the Oxford area. They offer a wide range of clinical services across a range of medical and surgical interventions including specialist areas such as cardiac, cancer, musculoskeletal and neuro rehabilitation. They also offer a range of services within the community.

We are looking to recruit experienced Staff Nurses to join the cardiology outpatient and echo department.

Reporting into the department manager will be responsible for planning and delivering appropriate to patients attending the outpatients department. Your day to day will involve preparing the clinic environment in the morning and afternoons, making sure it is adequately stocked and tidy at the end of the day. You will also be responsible to maintaining stock levels ensuring you adequately record everything. You will undertake clinical observations when appropriate along with administering medications and providing stoma care to patients. Working as part of the team you will be competent across Venepuncture, Cannulation and Phlebotomy, carrying out these tasks on a daily basis while maintaining a safe environment for patients under your care. You will consistently maintain adequate documentation and ensure the safety of all visitors to the department. You may also be assigned other ad hoc duties as required by senior members of staff.

Working hours 4 days per week 8am-6pm

To be considered for this role you will have at least one years' experience working in an acute setting and a keen interest in Cardiology with a good understanding of the anatomy of the heart. You will have experience with IV, Phlebotomy and Cannulation however training can be offered in certain areas if necessary to enthusiastic candidates. You will be a caring and compassionate nurse with strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure. Working as part of a team you will have excellent communication skills and be a good team player
